What We Do:

Beneficial Hospice provides compassionate care to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Our dedicated team of volunteers plays an essential role in enriching the lives of our patients and families by offering companionship, emotional support, and practical assistance.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families: This may involve simply being present, listening to their stories and concerns, offering a comforting touch, or engaging in meaningful conversations.
• Assist with light tasks and errands: Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, or running errands can provide much-needed relief to families.
• Offer respite care: Give family caregivers a break by accompanying the patient while they take some time for themselves.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions: Stay informed about hospice care and develop your skills as a volunteer.
